The ride has a tough final 10 miles and I think it would benefit from having an additional feeding station on Romney Marsh. The one at Appledore was much imrpoved on pervious years with better and more sustaining food. This is the fourth time I have done this ride and would do it again.

A really friendly event and a ride that takes you through exceptionally beautiful countryside. I would definitely aim to do this again. Good value too. There's one kicker of a hill towards the end to look out for.

Despite the poor weather, once again a very friendly and low key sportive. Whats really good is that the organisers act on the constructive feedback given. A junction where a number of people had gone wrong before was really well signposted and the feed station was moved away from the road. Perhaps a clearer link could be given to finding the timings on line, although if you asked on the facebook group they were available very quickly.

Nice course - lovely scenery. friendly staff at start - indiffferent at the feed stop. plus two "possible" marshalls with fluro vests at a T junction sat in the pavement - so not sure if they were involved or not. Good value - suggestions to organisers
1) Dont put a feed stop trestle table right next to a road - if there is anything that will piss cars off its having to overtake a gaggle of riders eating bananas on the road - especially when there is a lovely big playing field right behind. Its not a race - riders wont mind pulling off the road.
2)Cans of coke - I would envisage that most riders would prefer a can of coke at the end of the ride - not half way through
3)As far as I am aware riders had to pay for everything at the end of the ride - there should be at least free water or preferably the can of coke fore-mentioned.
4) At the end of a ride riders are tired - have a separate table for free stuff - even if its just water. to the stuff that we pay for -we're tired and simple things become complicated
5) Never Ever run out of tea !! - two geysers need to be on the go.
6)bike park area - a few scaffold poles on triangles would have made a lot more room.
overall nice local event, well priced in its second year.

Excellent, friendly event, raising money for a local animal sanctuary. Thoroughly recommended, and in the words of Arnie from Terminator: "I'LL BE BACK" (next year) !

I was very impressed with the event as a whole, my only complaint was the feed station.

It was not signed (or if it was I didn't see any), but the main complaint was its position, right on the roadside. Riders were pulling up, line abreast and causing problems for other roadusers. Given that the site was on the edge of some playing fields, could it have been sited a little away from the edge of the road thereby encouraging participants to get off the road and so no impede other users?

Great event - friendly and welcoming. Excellent route, testing without being overly difficult (Lympne Hill notwithstanding) :-)

I'm a bit soft when it comes to feed stops - would've like there to be two bit more evenly spaced but understand the logistics might be difficult, so I thought 9/10 was fair

Coming back next year and bringing the rest of my cycle club.
