Sell-Out Sportive Announces Dates for 2018
Yorkshire is currently the UK's hotbed for cycling, with the county becoming the first UCI Bike Region. The news was also announced that the Tour de Yorkshire will be extended to a four day race in 2018 including a two-day women's race. Struggle Events adds to Yorkshire's headlines by announcing the dates for the region's favourite must-ride sportives.
Kinesis UK and CX Sportive team up for Kinesis UK Gravelcross Series
Kinesis UK have been announced as the new title sponsor of CX Sportive's Gravelcross event series. CX Sportive and Kinesis UK have both been pioneers in the UK gravel riding / open hill CX scene; the first CX Sportive event in 2010 was inspired by the emerging trend for go-anywhere bikes not defined by a specific use, and the original Kinesis Tripster ATR was probably the first bike to become a figurehead for this do-anything generation of machines.
The Matlock Top 10 Sportive Takes Place in 2 Weeks
This is the fourth annual running of this iconic short but very tough road biking sportive in and around the Derwent Valley - well known for its road biking heritage. With the long route clocking in at 61.3km/38.1 miles, it's pretty short in sportive terms but factor in 10 tough categorised climbs with gradients regularly in excess of 20% all within a radius of 10km of the start/finish it suddenly becomes much more of a serious proposition.

Registrations Open for the Mavic Haute Route Rockies 2018
Following the resounding success of the inaugural edition of the Mavic Haute Route Rockies, the second edition is set to take place in June 2018. The second edition will run over seven days from June 23rd to June 29th in Colorado, the heartland of American cycling. New Sportive Comes to Wolverhampton
Sunday 17th September sees an new event for Wolverhampton cyclists. The Wolves-Wenlock sportive is set to take sportive riders out to Ironbridge and over the famous Wenlock Edge. Using mainly quiet back lanes the event comes from the same company responsible for the Banks's Round the Wrekin routes in May.
