Overall i thought the event was great and will certainly sign up asap on Nov 1st 2012 for 2013's event. The hills were great and the sheer number of riders in the hotel the night before as well as on the road made for a really good atmosphere.

the event is too large, too many riders. 45 mins to get off the motorway @ 6:45 am. 30 min plus queue for water and food @ feed stations. Mobile marshals very good, but places that static marshals would have been more appropriate, dangerous decent given wet weather etc. It was nice to get a bag for the goodies to go in the bin apart for the tin of oil. The route was great. I left feeling that it was a very large commercial event and the riders were just there to make up the numbers.

After last year's debacle I was a reluctant entrant for 2012. Fair play though the new organisers had upped standards and I had a great day's ride. Only complaint was traffic management with big queues on the motorway to get to the site. After that everything was spot on. I even enjoyed the first 40 miles as it's a novelty riding through semi urban areas and I hardly ever come across traffic lights in my part of Somerset, and we kept the pace high until the first feed. The climbs were awesome and the descents totally exhilarating. Despite our best efforts we were miles of even the bronze time standard, but hey we didn't get wet, no punctures and no mechanical problems and had 6 great hours of riding our bikes.

A fantastic route, love the long steady climbs. The last 20 miles mainly down hill puts the grin back on your face. Better feedstop food and is it possible to minimise queues off motorway into the event?

sometimes the signage was small and made people take wrong turnings feed stops where very well stocked but i would have appreciated more places to access water on the ride.
Never saw the sag wagon all ride we had a guy who had an injury and could have helped with advise

An outstanding day out made very special by the nature of the challenge, the professionalism attached to every aspect of its organization, and the friendly welcoming support from all those at the feed stations, the finish and on the course. It was the first time that I have ridden this but I'm coming back next year for sure. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who organized, or assisted at, this event. Your hard work made the riders' day and we really appreciated it.

My fourth Dragon and the best so far. A few niggles - queues to get into the event parking, for the toilets, and at the first food stop - but nothing like as bad as in previous years. Agree that the first section was a bit uninteresting, but after that there were great climbs, lovely descents, and the last section after the Bwlch was a blast! :) Might go back up to the Gran Fondo route next year if I'm feeling brave enough...

This event had a lot of stick last year so I entered with some intrepidation. I needn't have worried. I've ridden a number of sportives over the last couple of years and many of them have been really good...........but this was absolutely stunning. Fabulous organisation in every respect and a cracking route. Bravo!

My first and especially considering the distance I had to travel (800+ miles) with 2 overnight stops, my last Wiggle Dragon Ride. I cannot fault the organisation which was extremely slick but the ride was totally spoiled for me by the first 44 miles which was mind numbingly boring, having to ride through generally urban areas littered with traffic lights that always seem to stuck on red. Fine once onto the Brecon Beacons but by that time I was already in the wrong frame of mind.

really good event, lucky with the weather(!) Organisation is probably the best I've seen in the UK and marshalling was first class too. Here's to next year
