Fantastic event, but boy was I glad to get to Princetown and have the wind with me for the rest of the course.
I would suggest that one or 2 signs after you turn left off the main road to Kingsteignton wouldn't go amiss, the rider in front of me wondered if he was on the right route as did I, until I told him that I recalled some house that we passed from the route out.

i've ridden audax rides in the past but to experience the Dartmoor Classic took it to another level. The amount of attention to detail was incredible. A fantastic event allround.

fantastic event, 2nd time i have ridden it, gutted you changed the medal times, last year it took me 8 hrs 18 mins ( 2 minutes inside a bronze). This year 7 hrs 18 mins ( 6 mins outside a silver) if i had got this time last year i would have had a silver....why were the times changed?

This is definately the best organised sportive we have done, last year we did the Dragon ride and what an embarrasment that should be to the organisers,
The Dartmoor Classice is definately the best the UK has to offer, It was our 3 year taking part and evrey year am sure the hill get steeper, many thanks to all involved

3rd time I've done the Classic and every year it has been a very well organised and professionally operated event. This year, despite the weather and the last minute course change from a tree being blown down, was excellent.

my 1st sportive that proved a real challenge! cycling towards princetown for the second time i wondered if i would ever complete the ride. at the feedstation i heard someone mention a bronze medal so i thought lets go for it. another 30 miles or so i reached the finish and scraped a bronze medal time. i was knackered yet elated. a great course and very well managed. i wil back next year looking for a silver medal. thankyou to all concerned with the running of the event.

An excellant event, superbly organised, on quiet enjoyable roads and with the best marshalls of many events that I have ridden, if only MDCC could control the weather, overall outstanding.

the long trip to the first feed station was all uphill and i had to save my drink, luckily it was not a very hot day, otherwise my water would have run out well before the 32mile first stop

I have completed all of the dartmoor classics todate (100 mile route) and without exception they have been a good example of how an event should be run. The route is usually 'tough but fair', the organisation slick. The only reason that I haven't marked it up as a 100 percent is that I believe that you can always continue to make small improvements through further fine tuning. Full and well deserved credit to the MDCC and marshalls.
