Ridgeway 100 Returns this August for MTB & Gravel
Trailbreak / CX Sportive are putting a new twist on their big Ridgeway 100 CX/ MTB event coming up on August 4th. The traditional 100km end to end format is gone, replaced by an out and back event which the organisers say cuts out the return transport woes of end to end events and creates a better ride into the bargain!
Jurassic Gravel Extended Weekend Joins Kinesis UK Gravelcross Series
Jurassic Gravel is coming to Kinesis UK Gravelcross events series on September 9th, and adding a two day ride and camping option to the usual single day event format. Series organisers Phil and Martin Harrison pioneered single day, multi-terrain, any bike event format through their CX Sportive events back in 2010, and as keen bikepackers themselves, aim to bring multi-day adventure biking and social 'gravel gathering' aspects to future events.
Newsreaders are the headliners at Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100
This year's Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 will feature a trio of TV presenters who are more used to announcing the news than making it. The BBC Breakfast duo of Louise Minchin and Naga Munchetty and Sky News's Dermot Murnaghan are three of the best-known presenters in the country. But the trio will swap the TV studios for the open roads on Sunday 29 July when they take on the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100.
Entries Open for the Dulux London Revolution and ULTRA 2019
Entries for next year's Dulux London Revolution on 11th-12th May 2019 open on 11th July. The first to sign up for the 2019 event, a 300km ride around the capital in one day or a weekend will be entitled to an early bird discount. Everyone is welcome, from elite cyclists to heroic fundraisers who have never been on a bike before.

HotChillee Partners With Cure Leukaemia to Raise £500,000
Leading cycling events company HotChillee today confirmed a three-year partnership with Cure Leukaemia with the goal of raising half a million pounds. The money will be used to fund 10 new specialist research nurses at centres across the UK to connect blood cancer patients with potentially life-saving or life-extending drugs that are not currently available through standard care.
MTB Legend Christoph Sauser to Race The Rainmaker RollerCoaster
HotChillee today announced that songo.info will be a charity partner for their new seven-day gravel race, the Rainmaker RollerCoaster, and that songo.info founder and MTB legend, Christoph Sauser, will be riding for the charity. Swiss national, Christoph, is the world's best-known marathon MTBer, having been a former World Champion, won five ABSA Cape Epics, and 14 UCI World Cup wins.
The Sun Shines On 4,000 Dragon Slayers
Close to 4,000 riders completed the Dragon Ride L'Etape Wales 2018 this weekend. Temperatures hit 25 degrees, and riders sweated it out tackling one of the four routes, from the Macmillan 100 (100km), right up to the Dragon Devil (300km) - the UK's longest one day sportive.
New 19-mile Event Added to Prudential RideLondon
A new 19-mile mass participation cycling event on traffic-free roads was launched today (Wednesday) as part of the Mayor of London's Prudential RideLondon 2018, the world's greatest festival of cycling, with 100,000 riders expected to participate in eight different events over the weekend of 28-29 July.
